Job description
Our client is a Korean Government Owned corporation that specializes in purchasing LNG from the global market and supplying the gas to the Korean domestic market.
They are seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to join their Finance/Accounting team at their Brisbane office.
Responsibilities:
– Completing daily bank reconciliations
– Processing month end closing, including entering journals, accruals, balance sheet reconciliation, etc.
– Review and process credit card reconciliations ensuring internal policy
– Assisting external/internal quarterly reviews and year-end audit
– Communication with relevant stakeholders, including Korea HQ, and provide requested information
– Assisting in the preparation of WHT and payroll tax
– Regulatory compliance reporting e.g. payment times reporting, ABS survey, share register etc.
– Carrying out internal control process
– Other ad hoc projects, as required
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree (Preferred Major Commerce, Accounting or equivalent)
– Ability to communicate in English and Korean
– Passionate about “getting it right” with a high attention to detail and accuracy
– Proactive in managing your own workflow and ability to work under minimal direction
