Position Summary
The Financial Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various financial and administrative tasks for daily company operations, including maintaining financial records, liaising with an accounting firm for bookkeeping services, and supporting organizational management.
Key Accountabilities
Performs general cost accounting to maintain financial records, run reports, seek for an internal approval, and record a wide range of transactions including project expenses, office expenses and staff payroll:
– Verifies and processes internal approval for payment of invoices associated with accounts payable including project expenses, office expenses and staff payroll.
– Liaises with an accounting firm for remittance of payments and book keeping.
– Ensures payments are charged to the appropriate accounts.
– Reconciles bank accounts and make a report at least monthly.
– Reviews and reconciles team budget periodically.
– Maintains transaction records for project expenses
Assists an accounting firm to file required tax forms with federal, state, and local government agencies
Provides assistance to outside auditors and/or administrative teams in regional HQ and HQ
– Gathers necessary account information and documents to perform audit.
– Maintains appropriate records for expenses and contracts
– Indexes the list of project contracts and conducts regular internal reviews
– Communicates with administrative team in Headquarters and Regional Headquarters.
Assists in organizational management:
– Manages attendance, safety, employment, and workplace insurance, etc.
– Manages office assets and supply including purchase, register, management and disposal.
Proactively communicate with related parties, especially with an accounting firm, project team and land acquisition managers.
Supports and performs other related duties as assigned.
Collaboration and team work demonstrated to achieve overall business/team target.
Requirements
Strong understanding of general financial accounting and cost accounting
Excellent multi-tasking skills, and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, or similar software
Experience/Qualifications
Two to five years of accounting experience required
Experience of working with multinational corporation (preferred)
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
