Job Overview
They are currently seeking a self-motivated Inventory Officer to join the team in Erskine Park NSW. Reporting to Team Manager, your role will have the responsibility of the full functionality of inventory operation on hands on basis.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain an effective cycle counting system for all warehouse inventories.
- Conduct regular stocktakes and reconcile any discrepancies.
- Oversee daily inbound paperwork, ensuring all stock is received, checked, and recorded accurately.
- Identify and action any non-conformance items in coordination with relevant teams.
- Maintain and enhance the warehouse inventory system to improve efficiency.
- Manage inventory control for on-hold, short shelf-life, and out-of-rotation products.
- Oversee and further develop the Distribution Center (DC) Stock Transfer Program.
- Act as the primary contact for inventory-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure pallet control and accurate data entry in inventory systems.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline inventory processes.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in inventory management, warehousing, or logistics.
- Strong understanding of cycle counting, stock control, and warehouse operations.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with warehouse teams.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with internal departments and external suppliers.
