Job Overview
Our client is one of the leading global freights forwarding and logistics service provider and due to recent developments, they are looking for an Office Manager to join their team in Parramatta
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Clerical and administrative support to Group Leader (CFO) and HR Manager
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, interviews, appointments, and other similar activities
- Administrative support on payroll, billing, and months-ends
- Reconcile timesheets and leave records
- Conduct a range of administration support including travel, accommodation, stationery, and etc.
- Process and prepare documentation and reports related to personnel activities (staffing, recruiting, training etc)
- Support contract negotiation, sub leasing, general building and facilities management
- Project manage such as warehouse, office relocations, fit outs and new builds
- Work closely with other areas of the business to manage the facilities and operational expenditure
- Schedule and preventative maintenance to the offices and warehouses and to office equipment, procurement and replacement of new assets and services
- Vendor management: liaise with vendors and suppliers receive quotes, follow up on work completed, ensure scheduling and projects run on time and in budget
- Submitting and reconciling expense reports
- Handling sensitive information in a confidential manner
- Any ad hoc duties as required
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in similar role is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively
- High attention to detail
- Good negotiation and influencing skills
- Tenacious, focused and have the ability to self-manage
