OVERALL SCOPE OF THE ORGANISATION

Our client is incorporated to meet the growing demand in the market for efficient Supply Chain Management (SCM) and logistics systems. They provide personalized SCM/Logistics solutions aligned with the varying needs of companies based on its own integrated Supply Chain & Logistics solution. Depending on the customers’ needs, various solution combinations are offered which ensures a steady information exchange among the solutions and connections within the systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements
  • Identify and resolve potential issues and disputes relating to supply chain activities
  • Work closely and ensure good communications with other team members including the supply chain team, customer services, and sales department.
  • Finished Goods logistics coordination & system management
  • Coordinate work in a team environment under general supervision
  • Answer and respond to general inquiries from suppliers, customers, or transportation companies professionally and courteously at all times
  • Inbound & Outbound Duties
  • Truck driver instruction & Schedule deliveries
  • Experience with inventory administration (desirable)
  • Experience with inbound and outbound vehicle scheduling (desirable)
  • Management of site-to-site inventory transfers
  • Maintain and oversee all the bookings and scheduling
  • Populate daily reports and distribute them to appropriate departments
  • The ability to meet set KPI’s to ensure the efficient running of the distribution center

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven working experience in logistics and/or supply chain.
  • Well-versed in supply chain management principles and practice.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel Office is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of functional departments
  • Strong critical thinking and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple competing priorities.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Customer service and quality focus
